Long time since I posted!

It's been a while since I have posted anything about us on here. I'm bad at this sorry. So I guess an update is due. Well Brayden is 20 months old as of yesterday. I don't think he could be more active. He is non-stop from the time he wakes up til the time I put him to bed, and sometimes I think he could stay up longer(including nap time). His big thing right now is if we ask him if he wants to go to bed he will shake his head. Everytime! His big words right now is uhoh or owe. What amazes me is when he wants a drink and I ask him where his sippy is he will point exactly where it is, which is usually over the gate. He used to throw ALL his toys over the gate and thank god that came to an end it got tiring everytime I would clean it up 5 min later they would all be back. Now it's usually just his sippy. I'm trying to wing him of his passy. It's going to be a hard one I can tell. Now he just has it while he is in bed, which is a step up. We put our christmas tree up a few weeks ago and all of the ornaments are from the middle up. Brayden would try to help, his helping consist of throwing the ornaments at the tree and hoping they would stick, Thank God for shatterproof ornaments made these days. So needless to say the tree isn't beautiful but it's up and that makes me happy.
Robert's job has been crazy the past month or so. We would get a different story everday about what was happening. Some of you might know that the oilfield has slowed down, way down. Well Robert's rig has gotten stacked out, which means it's not drilling. So I was frantic for a few days. I mean I stay at home and so I didn't know what we were going to do. So he got placed at another rig right now 2 positions down from where he was which equals almost a 10.00 pay cut, ouch! It's a paycheck though I keep having to remind myself. I know most of you won't agree with me but we are praying that price of oil goes up again so maybe it will pick back up. Robert said the other day that he was LOVING the cold air because that ment that people would be using their gas heaters which will bring the demand for it up. Fingers crossed. Sorry if you don't agree but its our lively hood.
I have been trying to save money anyway I can. I am a coupon cutting freak. I don't think I'm finding that many good deals yet. The best deals I find is usually at Walgreens. If you know any suggestions let me know.

When Brayden was 18 months we attempted to take pictures inside and he just wasn't up for it so we took him outside and he liked that a little better. Micah tried her best to get good ones and I think we got a few. Here's a few of my favorites though:

Here's some more random pictures from my blackberry:

We couldn' get him to eat cake for his 1st birthday but he loves it now!

Tickle Tickle Tickle

So Brayden has a new thing with tickling. It's soo funny! We always tickle him and so I guess he caught on. He will come up and start with the hands and says "Tickltickltickl". Well his nana got him a new book that asks where his belly button is if you lift your shirt to show him he will start tickling. I love it.
So this weekend was pretty crazy for us. We left here Fri and went to Weatherford. Brayden stayed with my mom and dad while me and Robert went out to Jaimes aunt and uncles house to swim. We had a blast. Then Sat. we went golfing we went at 7:44, I am so glad we went that early bc I was about to die of the heat at 12 when we left as it was I couldn't imagine going any later. I really didn't golf I drove my Grandpa's golf cart while Robert and Richard golfed I was a caddy. LOL. I am horrible at taking my camera with me I wish I did. Then we were planning on going to Christmas in July at Foss to watch the fireworks that evening. It stormed pretty bad Sat. afternoon so we didn't leave until late. When we pulled up to where we were meeting some of Roberts friends I immediately started having an anxiety attack I think. I saw all the cars and the people and I just felt weird. My stomach hurt I had like shortness of breathe so we stayed there for about 10 min and jetted. We met up with AudreyAnn in Butler and when it got dark we drove to a pasture to watch. Well her husband and one of their friends are volunteer firemen and wouldn't you know as soon as it started they got called out. So we didn't get to watch much. We stayed until Mon here in Elk City, Brayden was still my parents so we got to spend so us time together. Pretty much the whole time I was thinking I miss Brayden. Today Robert had to go to a meeting at 8:00 and we just got home at 1:30 and he has already left for work. He has to work all night tonight. Poor guy. He hasn't had much sleep to work that long. Whoo! That was a mouth full . Oh on a side note Robert found out today that his worm hands 3 month old baby died today during a nap. I guess he walked in to check on his baby and found her dead. Please keep them in your prayers. I don't know them but I know he loved his baby he would drive home every morning to see her. Thanks!

Crazy busy weekend

Well so this weekend was absolutely crazy!! We have been looking for a computer desk for a while we were using a kitchen table as our desk for a while and stuff just kept building up on it because we didn't have anywhere to put stuff. Well we finally found one in the weekly shopper it's an old teachers desk. I got the GREAT idea to paint it, it wasn't in the greatest of shapes well so that lead to where do we paint it and where are we going to put it??? I didn't want to put it back in the living room bc Brayden has been climbing onto the couch and then onto the desk for the past week. So we decided to clean out the back room(by we I mean I decided Robert cleaned) and put it in there. So we got that decided. Then we had to figure out how to get it ino the house. So Robert backed up the truck put some wheels on it and tried to wheel it in that didn't work partical board didn't hold together around the wheels. I told him to put it on the top and we would push it. I wish I would have gotten pictures of the madness. We finally go it in the back room and I started painting, Robert told me since I wanted it painted I could do it. With a little begging and pleading he came and helped too. So we(again we=Robert doing me telling) got the computer room set up. We did most of that while Brayden was napping. I wanted to rearrange the living room because it was the same way since after Christmas and I like have a new look every once and a while. There's not much left in the living room for Brayden to get into. All we have in there is a couch, love seat, entertainment center and Brayden's toys. He still loves to play with the blinds though. So we did that the next day while Brayden was napping so we could both work on it and not have him wanting to help. Then after we got cleaned up and went to Weatherford. We were suppose to go on a double date with Kyle and his girlfriend but she didn't feel very good. So Kyle still ended up coming with us. We went to Benchwarmer Browns and then we were gonna watch the car cruising and then go to a movie. Well we got to Benchwarmers at like 6:15 and we got out at 8:00. It SUCKED!! They were short handed and there was a BIG event going on downtown. Not good. So we got done and went out side and waited for about 30 min. for the cruise to start and I wanted to see the cars and the guys wanted to go see the movie. We were on Main st. so our truck was pretty much blocked in by all the cruisers until about 9. Sorry guys! So we just hung out there for a few more minutes and went to my moms. The next day Robert changed Kyles brakes and we wanted to make it to see the burnout but we were like 30 minutes late. It started at 1 we got there at 1:30 and people said we didn't miss much because they couldn't even hear it in the park. So we went to help friends hook up their water to their frig. Then ate and came home to get ready for the car races here in Elk. Mom and dad kept Brayden for the night. Kyle and Justin Pugh came over and it was a real blast. We met up at Clinton at Jim Thorpe to see my Grandpa for fathers day. It is amazing to see the change he has made. Brayden would stared getting into something and he say NOOOOOO! It made my day. I need to be better at this parent thing and take more pictures. Hope you didn't get bored reading this.

Update on Grandpa

Trisha sent this to me today I will keep you updated as she passes it on or when I go see him.

hey, uncle richard did really good again today! In speech therapy, she would say things like "black and ____" and he would say "white" or "red, white and ____" and he would say "blue". She said she had to say some of the words first then he would say it back to her but some of them he did on his own. She was wanting to see if he could say things if they were automatic and he did really good! I didn't see him with physical therapy today but he's been doing really good at that too!In occupational therapy, i don't know if i can explain what we did without kind of showing you but he did really good with his arm today too! He got dressed with less help today which is awesome! He just keeps getting better. Just keep saying those prayers. it's really awesome to see him getting back to himself! He seems to be more interactive with everyone which i think is because he has more confidence and knows he's getting back to what he knows as "normal". i'll keep you updated....trishwill you foward this on to everyone or anyone who would want an update? thanks!
